- Yes. Profile details like Organization, communication and sub-user details can be edited by Admin user in profile section after login at TRACES.
(Q2.)How to change Authorized Person details under TRACES profile?
- Admin User can update details of Authorized Person under 'Organization Details' in 'Profile'. Deductor needs to mention PAN and Date of Birth of Authorized Person then name of authorized person will be auto populated.
(Q3.)Can I update my Email Id / Mobile number in TRACES?
- Yes. Email Id and Mobile Number can be updated under 'Communication Details' in 'Profile'.
(Q4.) Can I make changes / corrections in PAN data from TRACES?
- No, details of PAN cannot be changed through TRACES.
(Q5.)How can I update my Digital Signature in Profile?
- Admin User can register Digital Signature of Authorized person by clicking on "Signature" tab available under "Profile" then click on "Register DSC" button.

(Q6.)What are the conditions to register DSC on TRACES? - Conditions to register DSC on TRACES are as follows:
- PAN mentioned in Digital Signature should be same as PAN of the Authorized person mentioned in Profile section of the TRACES.
- Only class 2 or class 3 digital Signature certificates are allowed
- Java should be of 32 bit.
- Please install Latest version of Web Socket Emsigner for Digital Signature related activities on TRACES.
Below are the conditions to install Websocket Emsigner: - Users need to install the latest Web Signer V 2.0 downloaded from TRACES in machine.
- JRE 8 or above with 32 bit version only should be present in system. If more than one JRE installed, please uninstall those. Keep only one JRE.
- User must have ADMIN access on their machine.
- User should have Internet connectivity while installing the Web Signer V 2.0
- There should not be any proxy present on browser while using Web Signer for DSC related activities.
