- (Q1.)How many deductees can be moved at a time?
- Maximum 15 deductee(s) can be moved in a single window .
- Through Type of Correction "Challan Correction" under matched Challan tab deductor can view the status of overbooked challan.
- Please check challan consumption details, may be you have already utilized same challan in any other statement or may have consumed more than the balance available in challan. You may check the consumption details by using "Challan Status" query under "Statement/Payments" tab.
- No, TDS amount cannot be modify through move deductee option. Please use "Add/modify deductee details" option to modify the TDS amount in deductee row.
- No, DSC is not mandatory for Movement of Deductee(s) Rows.
- "Online Correction Resolution for Overbooked Challan" functionality is available from Financial Year 2007-08 onwards and this feature enables deductor to move deductee rows from overbooked challan to another challan having balance in correction.
- In case statement is not processed by TRACES, please file C1 correction (Personal Information) through Consolidate file at NSDL/E-Filing. After processing of C1 correction, you will be able to proceed with online correction.
