- (Q1.)Can I add or modify Deductee details through online correction, prior to financial year 2013-14?
- No, this functionality is available only from F.Y 2013-14 onwards.
- There is no limit for the number of rows that can be added through "Add/ Modify Deductee details" functionality. However, Only 15 Deductee can be added or corrected in a single window.

- Following details can be modified through Add/ Modify Deductee Details correction:
- Date of Payment/ Credit
- Date of Deduction
- Amount Paid/Credit
- Certificate number issued by Assessing Officer for lower/No deduction.
- Unique Acknowledgement Number of the corresponding Form 15CA
- Reason for lower/ No/higher deduction
- Total tax deducted, surcharge and Education cess.

- Pan of Deductee

Step- 1: Login to TRACES as Deductor.
Step- 2: Go to "Request for correction" under "Defaults" by entering relevant Quarter, Financial Year, Form Type- Correction category should be "Online".
- Request number will be generated.
Step- 3: Request will be available under "Track Correction Request".- When request status become "Available" click on Available / in progress status to proceed with the correction.
Step- 4: Select the "Type of Correction" from the drop down as "Add /Modify Deductee Details" after validation of KYC Screen.
Step- 5: Make the required corrections in the selected file.
Step- 6: Click on "Submit for Processing" to submit your correction (Only Available to Admin User).
Step- 7: 15 digits Token Number will be generated and Deductor will receive a mail to Registered E-mail ID.
